POINTS FOR COURSES

Course A - HJD:

3 – 5 head of stock will be used during the run.  Dog and handler will start with the take pen, off lead.

Maximum time allowed: 8 minutes with a 3 minute warning.

All obstacles must be completed for a qualifying score.

A point will be given for each head of stock to complete each obstacle.  A maximum of two tries on each obstacle, except take pen and repen. A maximum number of points to equal the # of head of stock; points from best attempt will be used for that obstacle.

1. Outrun/Gather/Cross Start Line: 3-5 pts. x 5     1 attempt
2. Y Chute: 3-5 pts. x 5      2 attempts
3. Panel Runway:  3-5 pts. x 5   2 attempts
4. Centerline Gate: 3-5 pts. x 5   2 attempts
5. Panel Runway: 3-5 pts. x 5  2 attempts
6. Cross Finish Line: 3-5 pts. x 5  1 attempt

Total Points:  3 Head – 90 pts.
                    4 Head – 120 pts.
                    5 Head – 150 pts.

Points needed for 70% - 63 Points on 3 head
                                      84 Points on 4 head
                                      105 Points on 5 head
70% is a qualifying score for a leg towards a HSD title. 1 leg has to be on Course A for a title.
A small s will indicate sheep, g will indicate goats, c will indicate cattle, d will indicate ducks.

Dog must be a minimum of 9 months of age.

4. Panel Runway: 3-5 pts. x 5 2 attempts
5. Center Gates: 3-5 pts. x 5 2 attempts
6. Y Chute: 3-5 pts. x 5 2 attempts
7. Repen: 3-5 pts. x 5 1 attempt
Total Points: 3 Head – 105 pts.
4 Head – 140 pts.
5 Head – 175 pts.

98 Points on 4 head
